EUROLYSINE R&D Center

Biopôle Clermont-Limagne, Saint-Beauzire

The Saint-Beauzire R&D center aims to optimize the fermentation and extraction processes used to produce amino acids at the Amiens plant, rationalizing natural resource usage to support an increasingly sustainable bio-industry. Using high-performing bacterial strains and ensuring environmental protection, our R&D focuses on deepening and developing this innovative field of bio-industry applied to animal nutrition.

To develop tomorrow’s nutrients, we adapt our fermentation processes as closely as possible to the agricultural raw materials used. The bacterial strains responsible for fermentation are at the core of our biotechnology research. They aim to understand and maximize their capabilities to reduce our raw material consumption and minimize our water, energy, and secondary material needs.

(*) AVRIL is the 5th largest agribusiness group in France and the leading industrial and financial player in the French vegetable oils and proteins sector. For over 40 years, the Group has remained committed to its original mission: to feed people and animals and protect the planet.
